The NE Regional Blueprint Committee and KHQA have teamed up to give soon-to-be 16 year olds a birthday present that promotes safe driving. The Drivin' Clean at 16 program offers northeast Missouri parents the opportunity to register online their soon-to-be 16 year old a few weeks before his/her birthday. On or right before the birthday, the teen will receive a special birthday package in the mail, stuffed full of "Arrive Alive" goodies and other information that promotes safe driving. At the end of each month, those registered will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gas card donated by Ayers Oil, Inc.
KHQA has video of the presentation to the first gas card winner at this link: http://www.savemolives.org/northeast/index.htm
