ASBESTOS NOTIFICATION
FOR THE COMMUNITY R-VI SCHOOL DISTRICT
AUGUST 1, 2009

 TO:              Parents, Employees, and School Related Organizations

The remaining asbestos materials in Community R-VI School District are detailed below:

*These materials can remain in the buildings because they are non-friable, which means theywill not deteriorate.
*These materials are in good condition and cause no threat to public health.
*These materials will be inspected every six months to see that they remain in good condition.
*The entire Management Plan for Asbestos of Community R-VI School District is available to anyone, in the Superintendent's Office.

 Amounts of asbestos materials remaining:

*High School -235 square feet of Boiler Jacket in Boiler Room and 8,500 square feet of 12"x12" Floor Tile & Mastic

*Elementary School - 34,500 square feet of 12"x12" Floor Tile & Mastic
